Bugatti Veyron.....!!!!...A beast on wheels....

The bugatti Veyron is a man-made mean machine which can truly be termed as the "King of the Road" in terms of speed and horsepower...

This car comes from the German factories of Volkswagen where some of the world's swankiest cars are produced. The Bugatti Veyron is a car that defies all the traditional modes of auto engineering. This car was criticised as a waste of  valuable time, money and design expertise by many auto critics. However, I believe that this car is an engineering marvel !!

Specifications-

Engine, Displacement and Max. Power and other stuff-  This car has got an 8.0 litre W16 engine. W16 engines are Cylinder piston internal combustion engines. In simple terms these are shaped like a W. Currently, only the Volkswagen group produces these kinda engines.

The displacement is 7993 cc and the car boasts of a whopping 1000+ horsepower engine.
The car can do 0-160 Kmph in 4.5 seconds and 0-300 kmph in 16.7 seconds.
It has a top speed of 450 kmph.

The car has a 7 speed transmission and weighs approx 2000 kgs !! What amazes me the most is that even though its bulky, this 2 ton monster can cruise at such high speeds n a matter of seconds. Truly a marvel of german auto engineering. Obviously, the makers and designers had only 1 thing in mind while laying the blueprints on the drawing board, speed, speed and only speed.

A shocker that comes along with this car is that its a real fuel guzzler. This car drinks 29 litres of fuel every 100 Kms. So do carry a few extra barrels of gas when you decide to take this baby out for a spin.

Now the most important question of all. How much does this beauty cost??..Well its not in everyone's reach. This baby sells for almost $2.4 million.

Though this car would not find many takers compared to tradtional sports cars like the Ferrari Enzo, or the McLaren Mercedes, it is truly a work of art and defies all limitations of auto engineering. This car has been designed to shatter all speed records and is truly a collectors delight.

Peace....
